This song is a follow-up to Eminem's blockbuster tune "Love The Way You Lie," however this time the tale is delivered from the female perspective of a relationship. "When I originally heard the concept of filming a part two, I was absolutely utterly against it," Rihanna told MTV News. "I felt like there wasn't enough room for another version of 'Love The Way You Lie,' and also that fans wouldn't accept it."
But after reading the script, which she called "incredible", she changed her mind. "It's an opportunity for me to show another side of myself as an actress, and also to help fans understand women better. There are so many lies we tell each other every day, especially in relationships - about wanting space or needing reassurance. It's important for people to know that these are just tricks we use to avoid saying what we really feel."
Rihanna has been working on the film with director David Fincher who also did an amazing job with the first part. According to the singer, they have already shot some scenes for the second part and she hopes to finish shooting by the end of this year.
She added: "It's going to be incredible. I can't wait for everyone to see it."
