He behaves differently while you're around. A shift in conduct, regardless of its direction, indicates that you made him feel something. That something is most likely nervousness. When you enter the room, pay notice to any changes in his manner. If he is generally soft-spoken, he may speak unexpectedly and laugh loudly. If he used to be talkative, he may now keep quiet. If he was easygoing, he may become argumentative or even hostile.
His behavior toward others may change too. If you saw him yelling at someone else earlier, then he's probably not so calm around you. He may even show his temper more often than not. This is because he feels uncomfortable if he doesn't display some degree of control over his environment.
If this is how he always reacts around people, then there's no need to worry. However, if he ever acted inappropriately toward you before, even if it was just by word or deed, then this is why he's behaving differently now.
There are a variety of reasons why he could act differently around you, and there are a number of things you might think about while attempting to figure out why. He is irritated with you.
He's tense. Unusual laughing, sweaty hands, and fidgeting are all red flags. Guys are continuously looking for ways to exert control over their emotions. If he has difficulty doing so in your presence, it's most likely because you make him frightened and eager. He may even be feeling guilty about being afraid of you.
The best way to deal with a nervous guy is simply to ignore it. Don't rush into anything, and don't give in to your own feelings of fear or excitement. Keep a clear head and use your best judgment; if you feel uncomfortable, then walk away before anything serious happens. A nervous guy is just that: nervous. He might want to know that you're not upset with him, so keep that in mind as you move forward with your life.
Perhaps he's being coy or clingy. All of these acts might indicate a variety of meanings. When a guy is getting ready to propose or ask you to move in, he may become silent or aloof. Being secretive is the same. But it's also possible that he has anything to hide. He may be irritated with you if he is chilly. Or he may just not want to talk about it.
The most important thing is that you understand his reasons. If he doesn't give them to you, then don't take offense; just leave him be. You can't make someone tell you what they're thinking, so don't try to push him to do so.
The next time he does one of these things, stop and think before you act or say something back. Maybe taking a step back is all he needs right now.
It's possible that he hasn't been talking to you because he is irritated or unhappy with you. This is more likely if he began doing it in response to anything that offended or annoyed him. If he is upset with you, he may demonstrate this by doing things like: avoiding your eye contact, not answering your questions, and being cold toward you. Don't take it personally. He is probably just trying to show you who is in charge.
If you two have had previous relationships together, then he might be feeling insecure about losing his place as the number one man in your life. In order for him to feel secure again, he might need time away from you (even if only for a few days). It could also be that he feels guilty about another relationship and doesn't know how to tell you about it. He might even be afraid that you won't want to be with him anymore once you find out what he has done.
In any case, he is showing you that he is not comfortable with the current state of affairs between you two. So in order to fix this, you will need to talk about it. Tell him how you feel about his behavior and ask him if there is anything you can do to make him feel better about things.
He might not say much at first, but if you give him time, he should start opening up again.
He might be attracted to you, which explains why he acts uneasy with you. Being uneasy with you might be a sign that he is attracted to you since it shows that he doesn't want to give you a negative opinion of him, which causes him to act strangely. He might also be afraid of hurting your feelings.
Not being able to admit how he really feels could be another reason why he acts strangely. He might not know what to say so he avoids you altogether until he has enough time to think about it and come up with an answer that won't make you reject him.
